The Workforce Ready Grant gives Hoosiers an opportunity to remove financial barriers that can prevent them from receiving the training they need to obtain a Next Level Job and thrive in today’s economy. This includes the opportunity for working-age adults to earn a high-value certificate at Ivy Tech Community College – free of cost to the student.
Managed in partnership by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the Workforce Ready grant promotes the high-value certificate programs in the five sectors that align with Indiana’s economy:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Health and Life Sciences
- Information Technology and Business Technology
- Transportation and Logistics
Covered Costs
- Tuition and required fees associated with courses that apply toward an approved Workforce Ready Grant eligible program (excludes book(s) charges)
- Only costs in excess of federal grants, state grants and scholarships are covered
I am 55 years old and would be interested in finding out more on next level jobs.
